Cairo, Aswan and Luxor Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Egypt, a country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East, dates to the time of the pharaohs. Millennia-old monuments sit along the fertile Nile River Valley, including Giza's colossal Pyramids and Great Sphinx as well as Luxor's hieroglyph-lined Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings tombs.
Welcome to Cairo!
Cairo, the capital city of Egypt, is a bustling metropolis with a rich history and vibrant culture. It is home to Ottoman landmarks like the Egyptian Museum, a trove of antiquities.
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, complete your immigration formalities, board the coach and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
In the evening, attend the Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids. It is a fascinating way to travel back in antiquity and go back in time thousands of years, reviving the Egyptian heritage! It is still a mystery how the enormous pyramids were constructed, even though thousands of years have gone by since the pharaohs roamed the world. Dinner at Indian Restaurant Overnight in Cairo
Day 2
Today, after breakfast, proceed to start exploring ancient Egypt by visiting the sole surviving Wonder of the Ancient World, Giza's Pyramids and the surrounding area - The Giza plateau.
Great Pyramid of Giza - Ancient Egyptian pyramid that is the largest of the three Pyramids of Giza, located on a rocky plateau on the west bank of the Nile River in northern Egypt.
The Great Sphinx of Giza - A limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the head of a human and the body of a lion. Facing directly from west to east, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt.
Then head to explore the Papyrus Institute, Perfume Factory & Jewelry Shops.
Lunch at Indian Restaurant
Afterwards, proceed to visit the National Museum & Mummies Hall, an exhibition hall displaying gold coffins & mummies of pharaohs who ruled more than 3,000 years
ago.
Finally, transfer to the Train Station in order to board the overnight Sleeper Train from Cairo to Aswan. Dinner & Overnight On-Board Train
Day 3
CRUISE - High Dam, Philae Temple (B/L/D) Breakfast On-Board Train, and upon arrival at Aswan Station, transfer to the City. Proceed to visit - 1.High Dam - The Aswan High Dam is one of the world's largest embankment dams built across the Nile in Aswan between 1960 and 1970.
2.Temple of Philae - The Philae Temple complex is an island-based temple complex in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam, downstream of the Aswan Dam and Lake Nasser, Egypt.
Afterwards, return to embark on Nile Cruise and check- in. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 4
Breakfast Box and start early morning to visit the Abu Simbel Temple, a historic site comprising two massive rock-cut temples in the village of Abu Simbel, Upper Egypt, near the border with Sudan. It is located on the western bank of Lake Nasser, about 230 km southwest of Aswan. The temple was constructed to worship Pharaoh Ramses II as a god following his death.
Return back to Aswan, board the cruise and start sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch On-Board Cruise
After arrival at Kom Ombo, disembark to visit Kom Ombo Temple, an unusual double temple shared by two gods Sobek & Haeroris. It was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty, 180-47 BC in Aswan Governorate, Upper Egypt. Finally, return and once again embark on the cruise to start sailing to Edfu.

Day 5
Early morning, proceed to visit the Temple of Edfu. The Edfu Temple of Horus is an Egyptian temple located on the west bank of the Nile in Edfu, Upper Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god, Horus.
Return back to have Breakfast On-Board Cruise and start sailing to Luxor via Esna.

Day 6
Breakfast On-Board Cruise, check out and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Luxor. Head to the West Bank in order to visit -
Valley of the Kings - Ancient Egyptian necropolis on the west bank of the Nile River, where for a period of nearly 500 years from the 18th to 20th Dynasty, rock-cut tombs were excavated for pharaohs and powerful nobles under the New Kingdom of ancient Egypt.
Temple of Hatshepsut - A mortuary temple built during the reign of Pharaoh Hatshepsut of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt, considered to be a masterpiece of ancient architecture.
Colossi of Memnon - Two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III, which stand at the front of the ruined Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III. Lunch at Indian or Local Restaurant
Then proceed to visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple - The Karnak Temple Complex comprises a vast mix of temples, pylons, chapels, and other buildings near Luxor. The complex is a vast open site and includes the Karnak Open Air Museum. The Temple was believed to be the spot where creation began and a point of interaction between the god Amun-Ra and Egyptians.
The Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in the city of Luxor and was constructed approximately 1400 BCE. Unlike the other temples, it is dedicated to the new king's coronation and served as a place of ceremony and the location where most Pharaohs were crowned. Day 7
Breakfast at the hotel, and you will have the entire day free at Leisure at Hurghada, a beach resort town stretching some 40km along Egypt's Red Sea coast.

Breakfast at the hotel, check out and board the coach for your return journey to Cairo.

Upon arrival at Cairo, head straight to visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaars, a famous bazaar and souq in the historic center of Cairo. Then proceed to the hotel for check-in. Dinner at Indian Restaurant
Overnight in Cairo
Day 9
Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for the Day Tour of Alexandria, the second capital of Egypt, the pearl of Mediterranean. Start by visiting the -
Pompey's Pillar - A Roman triumphal column in Alexandria, set up in honour of the Roman emperor Diocletian between 298-302 AD.
Catacombs - The catacombs of Kom El Shoqafais a historical archaeological site located in Alexandria, and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. Photo Stop at the Qaitbay Fort - The Citadel of Qaitbay is a 15th-century defensive fortress located on the Mediterranean Sea coast, in Alexandria.
Lunch at Local restaurant
Finally, drive back to Cairo and rest for the day. Dinner at Indian Restaurant Overnight in Cairo
Day 10
Breakfast in the hotel, check out and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.

  • A non-refundable amount of INR 75,000 per PAX (to be adjusted with the package cost) to be deposited at the time of booking
  • Remaining INR balance to be deposited on the day of Visa application. Entire USD component to be paid in one go 30 days prior to departure. Cancellation 29 days prior to departure - 50% of the total amount will be refunded
  • Cancellation 20 days prior to departure - No amount will be refunded. The standard check in time at hotels is 1400hours & check out time is 1200hours. However, in some cities / hotels there might be an exception.
  • Child age 2 - 11 years; above 11 years is considered as an adult
  • All rates and availability are subject to change at the time of booking
  • No refunds either in part or full will be made for any unused services in above package like ground transportation, meals, accommodation, sightseeing tours, etc.
  • Any issues arising while on tour should be informed to us immediately during the tour only in order for us to act on the same. Issues raised after the end of the tour will not be entitled to any feedback. We are not responsible for any missed services / meals due to change / delay in flight timing
